SKIN REJUVENATION

Hautverjüngung mit LasertherapieWith skin rejuvenation also called photorejuvenation, there is a possibility of correcting, respectively balancing various features of skin aging. Photorejuvenation means the rejuvenation of the skin with light. Only the “good parts” of the light are used.

Exposed areas such as the face, décolleté, and hands, are often exposed to the sun and are stressed by UV radiation. Over time, this leads to photoaged skin. Signs of this skin are a whole mosaic of undesirable manifestations such as pigmentary disorders, dilated skin vessels (Couperose, Telangiectasia), sagging skin, and fine skin wrinkles.

  • Minimal treatment time

TREATMENT PROCEDURE

The intense and filtered light is absorbed by the superficial skin vessels and pigment spots, causing the hemoglobin (blood pigment) in the skin vessels to coagulate (clot). Heat causes intentional inflammation in the vessel walls, which results in the vessel walls sticking together. As a result, the blood can no longer pass through the vessels. Furthermore, the pigment spots turn dark brown, these are denatured and fall off the skin like powder. At the same time, the flashing light generates heat in the skin and thus stimulates the formation of new collagen.

The IPL treatment makes blood vessels, reddened cheeks, pigment spots, and also sun spots disappear. The skin gets an even skin tone. The skin surface becomes younger, firmer, and finer. Studies have shown that skin texture and skin tightening improve due to the stimulation of new collagen formation.

Recommended 4 treatments at intervals of 3 to 4 weeks.

WHAT SHOULD BE CONSIDERED BEFORE THE PULSED LIGHT TREATMENT?
For 3 weeks before and after the treatment, avoid sunbathing, visiting a solarium, and applying self-tanning cream or any products containing acids.
WHAT DOES A TREATMENT LOOK LIKE?
In the beginning, the skin zone is measured to determine your melanin index with the Skintel (determination of your skin type), then the treatment can be started. In the end, the skin is treated with a skincare cream as well as sun protection.
HOW DOES THE TREATMENT FEEL?
Depending on the skin zone, the flash is perceived as a picking, heat impulse, or short pain.
HOW LONG DOES A TREATMENT TAKE?
From 10 to 30 minutes, depending on the zone and the effort required.
HOW MANY TREATMENTS DOES IT TAKE?
It takes 2 to 4 treatments.
CAN ALL SKIN TYPES BE TREATED?
Only skin types I-IV can be treated. Darker skin types cannot be treated.
WHAT IS THE TREATMENT PROCEDURE?
The treated spots will turn dark brown. The skin vessels will turn dark red-gray. There may be redness and swelling, which usually disappears within hours. In large areas, the swelling can last up to a week.
HOW DOES THE TECHNIQUE WORK?
This intense and filtered light is selectively absorbed by the superficial skin vessels and pigment spots, heating and destroying them for a short time. Thus, pulsed light (IPL) can address various aspects of skin aging at the same time.
