The fractional laser vaporizes hundreds of microscopic cylinders in the skin. The laser pulses create microscopic burns deep inside the skin. In between these deliberately damaged skin patches, there is some untreated skin, from where rapid healing sets in.

During the procedure, the surface of the skin is smoothed out, the scar becomes thinner, and fresh tissue is formed in the subcutaneous tissue thanks to new collagen. As a result, the scar tissue becomes even and homogenized. The irregular skin structure becomes more even and smoother beyond recognition. The laser minimizes the appearance of scars and does so without any required downtime for you.
